Default Gary scored a CCW-12 bolt for Taylor's Chevelle!

My brother Gary was able to get a CCW coded 12 bolt for Taylor's Chevelle. It came with the upper and lower control arms and the sway bar,and all of the bolts, too!

Here's what it looked like before cleaning...

Decodes to April 22, 1970 Buffalo, second shift?

Back side view!

After using the pressure washer...

Cleaned up pretty well (so far)!

from http://chevellestuff.net/1970/rear_axle.htm

CCW 3.31:1 ~ 12-bolt (L34/402 & LS3/402 M.C.)*

Good find.

Is this going into an SS396/402 70 Chevelle?

Ryan

Bruce, would you mind sending me some hi res shots of the rear (after) it was cleaned. I noted the yellow inspection mark on the flange where the tube fits into the housing. Also appears to have maybe an "8" on the bottom side of the housing but can't really tell for sure.

Rick,

Let me know how many different angles you'd like. I'll run over and get you some pics....I just tried calling you as well

Ryan, this is going into a 1970 Chevelle

Any angle that shows the inspection mark is good. Sorry I missed your call. Been at the shop all day and the cell does not work inside so I did not hear it ring.
