FORD DEALER/FACTORY LICENSE PLATE
Very Cool old Ford Dealer license plate.. This is the equivalent to the USA 1 Chevrolet Plates.. Not sure on the year but I believe it is early 1970s... In nice shape..

You're right.
Didn't mean to imply when the Mustang II first debuted,but when it and other FORD cars were premiered for the new 1977 model year. Cool looking plate. Here's an ad from October 76 Popular Mechaincs.

Wow - that ad brings back more memories Rick - I am embarassed to admit I had a friend back in the day that had one of those Mustang II's with the Deluxe equipment package and the Ghia roof. Man that was one ugly car then and still is now!

Those cars are very quick also.. I knew a guy in high school that had one with a hopped up 351 in it and it flew!!

They also 'flew' with mildly worked 302's! A neighbor had one, loud, fast, colorful, fast, loud, (he was a hippie!).
