Very Cool old Ford Dealer license plate.. This is the equivalent to the USA 1 Chevrolet Plates.. Not sure on the year but I believe it is early 1970s... In nice shape..

They debuted that slogan in 1977,when the Mustang II premiered.

Not trying to second guess Rick's response about 1977 as I really do not know when but I remember having one of these hanging in the garage when I was growing up in the 70's.

Dad says he thought he got it at the 1974 Chicago Auto Show.

You're right.
Didn't mean to imply when the Mustang II first debuted,but when it and other FORD cars were premiered for the new 1977 model year.

Wow - that ad brings back more memories Rick - I am embarassed to admit I had a friend back in the day that had one of those Mustang II's with the Deluxe equipment package and the Ghia roof. Man that was one ugly car then and still is now!

Those cars are very quick also.. I knew a guy in high school that had one with a hopped up 351 in it and it flew!!

They also 'flew' with mildly worked 302's! A neighbor had one, loud, fast, colorful, fast, loud, (he was a hippie!).
