That switch stands out in my head,as most all the parts suppliers today incorrectly advertise it as BOTH Camaro & Chevelle w/ZL-2 hood, even though it was only used on the 69 Camaro w/ZL-2 hood. The early printed parts books were erroneous in including it for the Chevelle, then revised their later editions & Ass. Manual to exclude the Chevelle, yet the parts suppliers are reluctant to recognize this today. The Chevelle ZL-2 hood included a Vacuum operated exterior door as well,so it used a diaphragm check valve #6440776,instead of this electrical switch.
