You can still get the Hypertech chip, Martel Bros has it - get the Thermo-Master, requires a 160 degree thermostat. I ran one in my '87 Formula 350 Pontiac, you could definitely tell there was more low end torque. The chip I bought back in the day also improved the 700R4 trans shift points, raising the lock-up speed for fourth gear. It's located in the passenger footwell, it's a very quick and easy swap.
