87 88 IROC CAMAROS 350 TPI Automatic
 

Ok Silly question here. Does anyone make a HYYPER CHIP or some type of program(s) that I can install on a 87 or 88 350 TPI IROC. You can still get the Hypertech chip, Martel Bros has it - get the Thermo-Master, requires a 160 degree thermostat. I ran one in my '87 Formula 350 Pontiac, you could definitely tell there was more low end torque. The chip I bought back in the day also improved the 700R4 trans shift points, raising the lock-up speed for fourth gear. It's located in the passenger footwell, it's a very quick and easy swap.

I recently saw an 86 or 87 IROC with 5500 original miles for sale in our area. I think the asking price was around $17K and I think it was red, 350, AT. If anyone is interested I can see if I can find the ad again.
