We also got our Mercedes Benz, BMW and Alfa parts from Knauz. Mancuso's Lake Forest Sports Cars is still in opperation.

... and Knauz also had Ferrari prior to Rick moving in up the street (it's all comin' back to me ...!)

Bob Sorenson Whittier CA soon became Ed Taylor Chevrolet as 02/67 Ad below.
Also below is an Ad from 08/71 by Bernard Chevrolet, Libertyville as Stefano mentioned above, advertising a Yellow ‘71 Yenko Vega Stinger.

On the Knautz front, I had a dealing with the senior owner some 15 or so years ago, and I remember him telling me about some special cuda convertible they had at one time. Their personal car collection is impressive from over the years. I think it was one of rare production hemi cars that was drag raced, something was unique about it. What was interesting is they did handle Chrysler back in the 50s so maybe they were still dealing with plymouth in the 70s. I could not believe he chose to fly his plane from the north side of Chicago to the western suburbs to meet versus driving....(very cool, like it was nothing special to him).
