Karma works in mysterious ways. I was in Canada many months ago inspecting 3 cars for a client. One of the cars was a 1970 LS5 Chevelle which had a restamped block in it. I did an internet search looking for the original block while eating breakfast with the client and lo and behold, Steve posted the VIN on a thread on this very site. It was the only place this VIN popped up on. A quick call and a deal was made to reunite the original block with the car. Steve was currently driving his 1970 station wagon with that engine in it so now he would have to pull it and disassemble it to ship it. There are still a few good people in this world.

Default Boat Picture

Here is another picture of the boat the engine was in. It was a Cougar jet boat that were made in B.C. Canada. Stored for over 30 years.

That is a wonderful story Steve. And it could not happen to a better guy. I can attest to that.

I hope you have the time to chase all the history down and get testimonials from all the folks involved as it will just add historical value to your LS6 Chevelle.

Congrats!

Paul
