Man, that’s awesome! I’d repaint that in an S&M livery for sure.
But if this car was sold by S&M and not raced by them, it wouldn’t have had that livery to begin with. Additionally, if there’s no VIN or stampings on it, how do you know that this car was sold by them? Yes, there’s a receipt, but there would have to be a marking on the car to match the receipt to verify that yes, this was built and sold by S&M, no? And if I recall, Chrysler didn’t just give race teams a bunch of cars to build and sell, so what’s the behind the story of this car? Was it a leftover they never had time to campaign?
Just a few thoughts.
