Sorry, only have Sport Satellite hardtop numbers - 0.6% were EK2. No saying a Satellite has equal rarity . . . oh, wait, I DO have the numbers:
0.4% of Satellite hardtop V-8s were EK2 So we need to look up the US production for this model (24,803) and multiply the two, and we arrive at 99, give or take a few. It may be a good idea to confirm the US production stats for this model because I'm merely going by a reproduction of Chrysler docs. |

Thanks for looking that up. I kinda figured it was a rare color on this car. I've never seen another and another cool factor is that the original owner took delivery in late 71 as it sat on Reedmans lot for over a year. I guess back then it was not a desirable color combo for a sattelite buyer. You usually only see a superbird in a High Impact color. This is definitely a special car in its own right.
