Jason, I am not aware of any 3X2 intakes used in production on SBC. Only BBC. Early Corvettes did use 2X4 from 56-61. Tim |

There was a very short run of Winters castings 3x2 manifolds that were fit for three Holley two barrel carbs as a trial to see if it would work for a Trans Am Camaro. The odds that this is one of them about equals that of getting a winning lottery ticket, but still possible. If that should happen, you want to own it..... .....at almost any price. Oh, the Holley carb numbers that they used don't show up on any normal lists either.

In the 50s and 60s, they made three aluminum duece Stromberg (sp?) kits that were very popular. I had one on my 56 Chevy and it ran stronger than a single four barrel. I never had any problems with it. Base price may be 300-500. If you don't have any luck with them, keep me in the loop. *Paul

Well I bought it. What a cool day 2 piece. It is complete. The guy I bought it from had it on his 60 chevy. He said it was GM? But I couldn't find the winters mark on the intake. It has 3 rochester 2 jet carbs on it. I also got a pair of corvette 7 fin valve covers with the stagered holes. A NOS delco dual point distributor, still in the delco box. Also a set of 57 vette fuel injection emblems in the GM boxes. These three things will be for sale in the for sale section later on tonight.

Rebuild the carbs and you might be looking at $1200 - $1500. Street Rodders, and especially Tradional Hot Rodders LOVE these things! (I have a set-up myself!) GM (Chevy) made 3x2 intakes for the W motors & the Mark IVs but I've never seen a "GM" 3x2 intake for a SBC.
