Re: 67 & 69 Yenko's in OK

mrsyc, you would be the last one on the planet I would be jealous of. One factual statement you did make however, is you did not buy anything of mine. Remember you called me, (I didn't call you)...

mrsyc, please do not call me, as I will not take the call. If you have anything to discuss, or debate, lets do it openly on this forum. Warren

Re: 67 & 69 Yenko's in OK

I still have the complete engine, trans assembly. At this time I do not want to sell it. When I have more time I will post the whole story on this short lived car, with the VIN. Warren

Re: Yenko Deuce on ebay

There is a hole in the floor, that has been patched over where the shifter would have gone. Someone has mistakenly added the column shift handle. He also had in the trunk (with a bunch of other...

Re: Yenko Deuce on ebay

Stefano, one of his car ads said to call him. If you need to get ahold of him call 203-937-0570 ask for Bill, a real friendly guy who doesn't want to be bothered with emails. He would rather talk on...

Re: 1970 LS/6 Chevelle with 24 original miles

Even if there was a slim to none chance I could afford it, I don't think it would fit in the garage, unless I took it apart. Warren

Re: 1970 LS/6 Chevelle with 24 original miles

I heard a little "fluffing" went on to cherry it out. I'm not knocking the car, I'm sure it is one of the nicest, that exists. Just thought I would give everyone a heads up. Hope I didn't ruin...

Re: 1970 LS/6 Chevelle with 24 original miles

Heard that the original smog system is missing. Find that strange that it would still have plastic covers on the seats, but someone took the time to remove the smog. Warren

Re: zl1 for sale

After looking at the tailpanel again I guess it is green. There is no direct light on it so it looks dark to me. Time to get my eyes checked. Warren

Whats the deal on the black painted tailpanel? Trunk mat? Makes me wonder what the rest of the restoration is like.

Re: 1969 Camaro copo on ebay

Yes, I went back and checked it out again. The car doesn't retain its original tranny. Original shifter and bracket gone. Had the correct crossmember. It didn't come equipped with D80. Remember I...

Re: 1969 Camaro copo on ebay

BKH, in my second posting on this car, I mentioned I was going to check for hole in frame. The underside of trunklid has been painted brown, but still has original jacking instructions attached. I'll...

Re: 1969 Camaro copo on ebay

This car only has one torsion spring in the trunk. I guess I have to bring my micrometer to see if it is the larger of the two. Even if both springs were missing, I should still be able to figure out...

Re: 1969 Camaro copo on ebay

I looked at this car last night, it appears to be legitimate. The rearend is totally covered in oil, which has been there forever. I cleaned off the area where the code was, and it is so clean you...

Found another picture. It is in Popular Hot Rodding Oct '69 issue, page 40. Shows the car had a rear sway bar, how about that!!!

Re: sharks in NJ!

The transmission isn't even the right case! With all that "brail" on the side of the case I would say it is a "661" and not a "660". Wish all the fakes were this easy to spot!
