I used Caswell Yellow Zinc to color my 1969 2bbl. Takes some trial and error to get right though. A before and after kinda pic :) ( they are two carbs, but it shows what I started with )

I'd probably just fill the water jackets with evaporust (or similar) - shouldn't need much. I don't see a speck of rust anywhere else on this block.

HI i would and i have bolt the oil pan on and sand blast the block and oil pan with the block up side down . Then wash thee hell out of it .

Inner fenders got chassis black. Doors in the first pic are just base coat, and then cleared the next day. No bugs, it was a good day. Body got edged in the trunk area. Next weekend hopefully...
