Default Raw (as cast) Yenko Block and Liners

I have an un-machined Aluminum 427 Yenko block and a set of machined liners. The block has "YENKO" cast in the front face.
Do you want to make youe Yenko worth the BIG bucks?

To list here all items must include a price. Price listed on racejunk is $4000.. Is that correct?
I've always wondered what these blocks were used for since the Camaro's & Chevelles were factory 512's. Were they built for Can Am racing Corvettes?

Aren't Yenkos already worth "Big Bucks"? I think this engine would make one worth less than a cast block.

Cast iron, I should have been more specific. I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'll stay out of this.

It's most likely a Marine block, that was how Yenko was marketing them back in the day. I know of some circle track racers that bought them from Yenko, but very few muscle car guys. They didn't come in any of the Yenko cars, so the history is somewhat limited to a Yenko counter sale. Neat blocks though.

I'd like a blown up one to make a glass top coffee table out of, would go nice with the 15x15 cragars / end tables that I have stashed away!

Yenko also marked his alum blocks to drag racers.
It was used by some big names in the late 70s and one of the
drag racing magazines did a build article on it in the early 80s.
