If we're talking about a 69 Camaro, the plate has woodgrain too... its actually a separate piece that overlays the standard "ribbed" plastic plate.

I have only seen a couple of real ones on E-Bay in the 10 years I've been looking for one and have been outbid on every one no matter how deep I dig into my pockets.
There is a pic of one in the Hooper Book. The drawing in the Assmbly Manual shows how it goes together and the part numbers.

There ARE repro radio delete plates out there now, and from what I've seen, some are actually pretty decent. As far as the woodgrain portion goes, I think you could make a pretty convicing one yourself with a flat piece of tin and a console woodgrain applique' kit sold by many of the Camaro parts vendors. Just a thought if you need the part for your car and don't want to spend a fortune. I've had a half dozen original 69 delete plates (and a couple 67/68 ones too) and I have never got my hands on one with the woodgrain insert either. Seems most cars without a radio didn't have any optional interior trim either.

The console woodgrain applique' is too small for the radio delete plate but there is a guy on ebay that sells woodgrain in 12x12 sheets.
