I have two quadrajet carbs for sale that are dated correct for 1970 big-blocks. The first carb pictured has a list number of 7040204, which decodes as 1970 Chevelle/El Camino/Camaro/Nova/Monte Carlo/Passenger/Corvette with auto trans and either 402/350hp, 402/330hp, 454/360hp, or 454/390hp. The date code is 0470, which is Feb. 16 of 1970. The second carb pictured has a list number of 7040500, which decodes as 1970 Chevelle/El Camino/Monte Carlo/Corvette, California models, with auto trans and 454/360hp, 454/390hp, or 402/330hp. The date code on this one is 3099, which is Nov. 5, 1969. These are both cores that will need to be rebuilt. Price on each carb is $300. Email me at [email protected]
