Chevy Dealer in Evanston

Does anyone know what the name of the Chevy Dealer that was in Evanston Illiniois on Green Bay Road near Lake St. it is currently a import jaguar dealer now it would have been a Chevy dearler 25-30 years ago.

Do you mean Lake Ave.?
Lake Ave.is too far north to be considered Evanston.
Sounds like Village Chevrolet at 435 Green Bay Rd. in Wilmette.

Thanks I do beleive it maybe Wilmette on Greenbay road just south of Lake St, thanks you have a good memory I have a friend that bought a 69 Z28 at that dealer new but couldn't recall the name.

Lake Avenue is not Lake Street-(Aka Ill.Hwy 20).
Two completley different roads around here..just for future reference.
Does he still have the car..any vintage pics?

You are correct Lake Ave...by the metra tracks. I beleive the dealer is now Imperial Motors a Jag dealer.

It's a she and yes she does have pictures...it's a dusk blue Z28 with white stripes I beleive she has some vintage pictures some taken at the Grove. I'll get the pic's for you very cool stuff.

It's getting hard to remember all this stuff but I believe Mancuso had purchased the dealership in Wilmette and it was called North Shore Chevrolet?
