Default 1969 Camaro SS RS 396 Baldwin Motion look

This car was restored a few years ago and driven very little since then. It is rust free and in excellent condition. It appears to be a real SS RS 396 Camaro that I belive may have been an original L-78 / L-89 but there is no documentation. It is optioned with deluxe black interior, power disc brakes, power steering, spoiler, factory tach and console gauges, M-20 4-speed, rosewood steering wheel, stinger hood, new American racing TTO 5-spokes with new tires and 12-bolt 3:73 posi. When I bought the car it did not have the original 396 motor so I installed a 540 /610hp Bill Mitchell motor around the first part of this year. I have done a bunch of bolt on minor upgrades using only the best parts I could find to make this motor work in this car. I took the car to Superior automotive here in Anaheim a few months ago and they dialed in the combination a little more and got 503hp at the rear wheels at 5300 rpm. The motor has a higher redline but it only has about a 100 miles on it. The car appears to have spent its life in California, it is rust free, the paint interior, body fit and finish and underside are almost perfect. $62,900.00 or $5,000.00 less if you do not want the motor and all the after market parts. I will include a set of GM rally wheels and tires. I am open to trades plus cash for the right car. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you want more pictures or more information.

Hi Bart, I still have the car. I am more suprised you still have yours. As hot as the 70 Z/28s are right now and as original as yours is I figured it would be gone to another owner by now. My car is more of a niche car that I put together for myself, some people like it and some do not because its not a numbers matching original car. I have been driving it to the Crystal cove car get together south of Newport beach on some Saturday mornings. I think its about 10 miles south of me on PCH. I have been getting more comfortable driving the car. The guys at the engine shop said I should try some racing gas, bump the timing and gain a bunch more horsepower with the combination I have now. But I still have not gone full throttle yet in this car because I do not want any squeaks and rattles or take a chance of breaking something. Take care and enjoy both of your Z/28s. I remember the hardest running car I had ridden in was a 1969 Z/28 with a 70 Z/28 LT-1 350 crate motor in it. With 4 people in the car it pulled harder than any big block Corvette that I have ridden in since.

There is a certain green Nova that I would like to buy on e-bay that ends in the next day or so. Would anybody be interested in the car at $53,000?

If somebody wants the Camaro without the 5-spokes, I will sell it for $49,995.00 with 15x7 Rally wheels and another set of BF Goodrich tires.
