Default Question on purple PCV valves

What is the importance of a purple PCV valve? I listed a couple dozen CV746C, part # 6484525 on Ebay yesterday and had someone Email me and offered me $300.00 for all 24. Great offer, but already have bids and can not accept it. What makes these worth $12.50 each. Thanks, Larry

Wow! $25.00 to 75.00, I was hoping to get $20.00 or so out of the lot of 12. I listed two lots of 12 on Ebay and another 2 singles this evening. I bought a bunch of NOS car parts and there were 32 of these PCV valves in the lot. Thanks for the help, Larry
