Very nice. Good docs too. Surprised it hasn't gone higher with so little time left. I need educated. Weren't all cars required to have head restraints for the '69 model year?

Pre January 1969 Built vehicles could get Head Restraint Delete.
For 1969,only 774 Chevelles were built without them as well as 4432 Impalas too.
A $16.90 credit,known as RPO AR-1 Less Head Restraint.
After January 1st,all vehicles were mandated to have them.

Picture clearly shows headrests. Looks like a very cool car. I would think the price will jump at the end with the crazy prices I have been seeing lately?

My point wrt headrests is, that according to seller the Sales Invoice has head restraints as an OPTION for $16.90. So, was this was an extra cost item early in the year?

Sam, Sorry, I understand now. I thought maybe you didn't think it had them as they are raised up in the picture. Not sure if it was a credit of $16.90 as mr70 indicated or a $16.90 option as seller stated. I bet there are some members here who know though and hopefully will chime in.. Dana

I believe that it was a "manditory" option on all 1969 vehicles.

Some other statements he makes seem wrong. Shows power disc brake option $64.25 even though it is standard on a Z28? Says "perfect original shifter knob" even though it is white and should be black?

No N33 wheel either. Not trying to pick pepper out of fly dung with it as the guy has it listed very straightforward IMO.

Cool car,bit of an odd order with RS and without D55 or U16.Love the early spoiler flat hood Z's-just not in Garnet.

I like that car alot. It seems every Z I see these days has a console with gauges and a cowl hood. It is nice to see one with a flat hood and no console. I am actually at the point where I personally prefer it.
