For those considering racing at SCR8: PLEASE READ
Just a quick note to those of you racing, and those of you *thinking* of racing, at SCR8...some rough guidelines, but PLEASE speak up if you have any questions or suggestions...
* helmet (must have for cars 13.99 or quicker, but a good idea for EVERYONE...13.99 is tougher than it sounds, so you can still have a LOT of fun without needing a helmet, and if you do start going below 13.99, we could probably find a helmet to lend ya!) * catch can (we can zip-tie a can for a temporary fix if needed, or you can grab a piece of long rubber hose and route it to your washer bottle) * dual throttle return springs (easy and cheap to get at parts store) * make sure your battery is secure * all wheel studs must be present and lugnuts tight (don't laugh, I've seen it happen) * no open toed shoes (no sandals), must have long pants (no shorts), minimum short sleeve shirt (no tank tops or cutoff shirts) * must have working seatbelts * no passengers quicker than 13.99 |
