I swear, I end up with more wacko Chevy wheels for a guy that only owns one Chevrolet, than anyone I know. They just make their way into my garage.

![]() Check this out. The wheel is obviously stamped "YJ", which is a '69 Disc brake, 14x7, RALLYE wheel, not a steel wheel at all. Then there appears to be an "afterthought" stamp of "XT". ![]() ![]() So it looks like it was an improperly stamped "YJ" rallye wheel, and THEN stamped "XT" for it's intended use of a 14x7 steel wheel. So what do I have ?? Looks like I've got an incorrect "YJ" rallye wheel, right along with an incorrect "XT" that was stamped after-the-fact. Yippee ......... ![]() |

I dunno, it's kinda cool in its own right. I need another XT to complete a set for my 69--I decided to let go of another that was too nice to put on my car--let me know if you want to get rid of it.

Now that I work for GM I can certainly understand how screwups happen....sometiimes it's hard to believe that we're in the business of building fully functional cars. |
