Tim,
I received your pm. You're actually asking for the equivalent of a complete restoration guide for that car, and unfortunately to date none exists, but I will try to help you with your restoration as best as I can. Most suspension components and part finishes are the same at all plants, however the paint daubs, firewall markings, etc. vary a lot between plants. If you can give me the VIN and cowl tag info from the car, that will help me help you. If this car has not been restored before, the very BEST thing to do is take careful notes (and photos) of what you find with regard to these tidbits as you disassemble the car, then replicate those on the finished product. That is true restoration. If those original features are no longer there, then the best anyone can do is duplicate features from another car that is as "close" to yours as possible (equipment, plant and time of production). That is where I might be able to help. So, dig up the info I asked for, and I'll see what I have on file that might be "close". Verne |
