I previously posted this ? in Chevy Talk in the chevelle section and have been steered to this Web site. I have a Holley carb that may be off of a 1965 375/396 4 speed chevelle. I am hoping to confirm this. The stamping on the air horn is; 3310-A List 4557

			Welcome Jeff.

![]() That is the correct Carb. for a Z16 Chevelle. The date you are showing 6A4 means it was assembled on 1966 November,4th week.Thats a 1967 models production time frame. That would be a Service replacement for the 1965 Z16 Chevelle, not an assembly line component. The 4557 is puzzling?? That is a 1970 Camaro-Chevelle-Nova L78/LS6 Man. Trans.Carb.suffix call out. Does it appear to be added after the other codes,by someone later on? |

If I remember right the "List 4557" is directly behind 3310-A. On the same plain. I am at work now so I'm not able to look at it. Would a picture be of any help? Thanks for the quick response. Jeff

Sorry for the delayed update. I was gone on vacation. Anyway I feel stupid, heres what I did. 6 months ago I wrote a carb. no. down to compare to the one on my car which I forgot to do. Then 5 months later I find the carb. no. still in my wallet and I'm thinking that, that no. is off of my car. But I did find out that my carb. is off a 1966 chevelle 396/360 std trans. Sorry about that mr70.
