-----Anybody have any idea how many COPOs were delivered to McDormans? I would really like to know. I went to Ohio U back then and visited Bobs every time I went to or thru Columbus. He always had a bunch of high-perf stuff available..........Bill S

For that kind of price I would think that he/they would pull the interior and search for the broadcast sheet. Now that he said that it may exist I would think that any serious offer would require the owner to pull a door panel or more.

IMO -- If the interior is original what would be the point of ripping it apart?

Agreed Mosport IMO if the shipper order is there that is all you need.
That would have all RPO's on it anyway.
No need to go ripping anything apart.

Most likely a Norwood car so it would not be worth tearing it apart searching for it.

One of the guys there, Dan Aldridge had a very nice Ontario Orange 1972 Corvette Coupe with the LT-1 motor and factory air. Bob had and still has some very nice cars there. He did not focus on just one model. There was this red 1963 Impala SS convertible with 1400 orig miles...

It's tough to tell from the ad but it sounds like it doesn't have the original motor in it. It says "numbers correct" which sounds like it could be a different motor to me. Sure seems like a fair price for a documented COPO even if it isn't the original motor.

If the car was giving a "total restoration", in 1984, why wasn't the buildsheet found then?
