Default GMH releases Monaro/GTO Convertible Prototype

Not sure if its on the website but the local Holden factory news publication had a nice Blue convertible on the cover this week. As we don't buy a lot of convertibles, or coupes for that matter guess they are thinking of you guys.

Saw some news on the Vauxhall Monero, an upscale GTO for the Brits. Convertible may be part of that line as well.

Any idea if they'll steup up to the 400hp (or just shy, maybe) LS2 from the C6?

At the Melbourne Motor show I asked enough questions and annoyed enough promo people that they woke up one of the engineers who came out and talked to me.

New GTO arrives in 2006 (around May to August 2006) with GEN IV LS2, There has been no leak at what it will look like. Problem is we now have a foreigner running GMH ( comes from your place sigh ) and expect the styling which we love may become a bit more .. "styled".

Here are some pictures of it if anyone is interested.... the article I read on it however indicated that it was very unlikely that it would reach production.
