Neat. The stories find their way into some strange places, don't they?

An interesting story for sure, but for being such close friends of the Yenko family...you'd think she'd have remembered Don's wife was Hope and not "Faith." Heck I've only ever met her once and I can remember her name. Super lady by the way, sat alongside her during the memorabilia auction at SCR1. She was very gracious and a joy to talk to. She couldn't believe what some of Don's "old junk" was bringing $$$ wise.

Me either! Remember riding home from Tennesee? We had more of Don's posessions in the back seat than our own. lol... A great lady, and a great time... seems like 100 years ago!

A great lady is an understatement. One of the most gracous and nicest ladies I have ever met. We visit about once a month, and to this day she still mentions how much she enjoyed the first supercar reunion.

And her daughter Lynn, and grand son Alex, who I met at Vettefest, are cut out of the same mold. And I am sure Terri, Don and Hope's other daughter, is much the same. Hopefully some day Lynn, Terri and even Hope will be able to attend a SCR.

Is anyone familar with what she saw in the New York Times? Was it a story about Don Yenko or the cars? Does anyone have a copy of the article?

It's a well guarded secret that Hope is one of a set of triplets; Faith, Hope and Charity.
