I have a 1965 Muncie M20. The VIN# is G142288. What plant used the G code and what vehicles were produced there. Its supposed to be a Chevy trans. Thanks.

Colvin's book shows they produced both full size Chevys and Chevelles there in 65. The book also lists it as Framingham Maryland That makes 2 mistakes I've found in his books

Bill,

Colvin has made corrections to the 1st printing of his books. Call or write the publisher, Robert Bentley, Inc. (800-423-4595) for the updates. Specify which book.
