Default Found a '68 chevelle 300 post body and more?

I was out looking at a 68 chevelle 300 body yesterday for $1,000 and there was a '70 chevelle El camino nearby with a complete nice body. In fact the entire car less drivetrain was all there with bad lower edege rust. the front end was a nice undamaged one complete with headlights. I am sorry that I didn't have my camera with me.

They are almost 100 mi from me but I have a buddy that drives a semi-truck out of that area and he is the one that put me on to the 68 two door post body. It sure was a original body, but it turned out that it was only a nice straight body with a original 6 cy motor still in it with F air. No hood but mostly all there. Unfortunetly it had rust through around the back window. I was thinking of making a clone out of it. I don't think it had ever been wrecked though. Are these hard to find or valuable ???

There is also a very complete, red '60 impalla big block collum shift that had what was left of a roll and pleat interior that was a really nice straight body but has heavy surface rust and a broken back window. the motor had the intake off and I would swear that it was a 425 hp 409ci motor. big intake ports like a 427 BB in size.

#3 was a very complete '67 chevelle not a ss but it had a perfect Windshield. the taillights and rear end was still nice too. Left side damage in the front.
#4 '68 SS chevelle body not too much left but didn't look at it as it was damaged as was a '68 camaro without a cowl trim tag or subframe forward. Hit in the back hard. There were some front fenders in the car but they had rust in them. one was off a ss350 red car and the body was blue original paint. Too muddy to see if it was a 12 bolt or not.

It just goes to show that you just never know what you will find when you go out in the boonies looking around.

You have too many projects as it is Larry.. Better give me a couple of them so you don't get overwhelmed.. I'll take that ugly white/gold car off your hands for you..
