9486 Coupes,Sedans,Convertibiles,and Elcaminos were built with the L-78 engine.

As of today,Chevrolet has not shown any records of how many were coupes.
Anything you hear is a "Guesstimate". But Jim M. & Crew are working hard on Answering these types of questions for us,One day soon.....

......and don't forget the 400 with aluminum heads (L89). Now throw in a 300 Deluxe Sedan (6 as a guesstimate) and you have some possible rare combos.

Yes
The 400 L-78's that got aluminum heads,shoud be included with the 9486 L-78 count. That 300 Deluxe Sedan "Guesstimate" of "6",is with Aluminum heads,not 840 heads.
