Bill Mitchel's custom show car ZL-1 powered Corvette he called "Aero Coupe" then after a revision he called it “Scirocco.”

The Aero Coupe was used as a pace car for the 1970 Road America Can-Am

The Scirocco was used as a pace car for the 1971 Can Am race at Elkhart Lake

Road America is my favorite place on earth. I was first there in 1965 when a friend of my dad drove us around the track. I'm still there at least once a year.

while I appreciate the work involved, I've never seen a corvette custom that looked better than the original design, C1, C2 and C3 included. The original design teams just got it right.
