I believe the wide tread GT was earlier than the polyglass tire

The common use of this tire is E70X15 on 68- 69 Z-28 cars.
Beyond that I know nothing.

Pics are one of mine I am going to use as the spare in the 68 SS 396 El Camino I recently bought.
Probably not correct but I have it, it is period, in decent shape, the right size and there is no spare.
Going on a "XB" wheel.

The tire in post 1 is not the early version "POLYGLAS".

Looks to me you answered your own question.

Tire I posted is same as his, just different size.

Tire Ralph posted is the non- GT version of same type.
"SPEEDWAY WIDE TREAD".

Yours is a later version of the "POLYGLAS" type.
Completely different
