Default NOS Early 327 Valve Covers. Virgins.

You will not likely EVER run across this deal ever again.

I have an NOS pair of early 327 Valve covers. Wire tabs on one, but not the other (which I believe is technically correct for just about every application on the early 327. No PCV provision and no vent provision and no oil fill provision.

Purchased by a fellow reportedly in 1965, right before he shipped out to Viet Nam. Ended up selling his car. Planned to use them on another project and had them powder coated in the 80s. Bought NOS stickers for them. Plans changed again and they sat in his garage all these years. These are NOT reproduction. The repops cost about $140.

These have NEVER been mounted on an engine, even for display. I almost mounted them on the 327 in my 57, but can’t get the darn oil fill tube out of the manifold, so decided to keep the 1968 vintage valve covers with that PCV set up. Damn, now I need to find an original 1968 327 Air Cleaner set up for a Q-jet.

There is not one ding or scratch on them. I believe the Chevrolet Orange powder coat is dead on. I realize it is difficult to gauge color on a computer monitor. So.... if you buy these and decide they are NOT an exact Chevrolet Orange match, you get a refund. I only ask that you pay shipping both ways.

I ship with Pirate Ship. These will ship for under $15.... maybe a little more with more than standard insurance. I know how to securely package delicate parts and will package them very carefully.

I consulted with the best C2 expert I have ever met (but won’t drop names). He told me $300 was a fair price for an NOS never installed pair. I don’t want to sit on these forever, so I will sell to a member here for $250 shipped. If you don’t want them upon arrival, contact me, and I will print out a label for return. I only ask that you reimburse me for shipping. (Yes, I know ads here on YSC MUST include money back guarantee, but I wrote this thinking I would be posting on the Corvette forum. Wanted to post here first.)
