Default 15X8 Appliance Torq Thrust Crows Feet wheel fitment

Hello, I’m looking at a set of Original Appliance Torq Thrust D Crows Feet wheels finished by Eric Vaughn. I’m looking to use them on the rear of my 69 L-78 Camaro. The size is 4 3/4 Bolt pattern with a 3 3/4 backspace. Seller says they are for Chevy but not sure about fitting a 1969 Camaro. My Camaro does NOT have disc brakes. Also what would be a fair price on these 15X8 restored Appliance wheels? Any info is much appreciated. Thank you for your time in advance.

Beautiful wheels.

Those may work on the back, but think you would have trouble on the front. They will stick out toward the outer fender lip 1.75 inches closer to the lip than a YH rally wheel.

To keep the wheel centered in the wheel well, using an 8 inch wheel, you would want 4.75 BS. That would keep the offset the same.

YH is 4.25 BS on a 15x7.

The only way to know for certain would be put them on, or find someone who has the same offset 8 inch wheel on a Camaro.

----Good looking pair there. I have several D's and love them a bit more than the straight spokes. Eric is well known in the wheel world....Bill S

Thank you Sir for the reply....Looking at them for the Back. Looking at a set of 15X6 from another member for the front. So the 4 3/4 bolt pattern they have is not an issue?

Bill S...This is Darrell J. These are for your old Cortez Silver L-78 69 Camaro. I still have her and was looking to buy another set of wheels to swap out the Super Sport Wheels she has had since you owned her. I hope all is well with you.

4.75 is correct for Chevy from that time period. 4.5 would be Ford and most Mopar back in the day.

I thought that back spacing sounded familiar. While I was down at my shop, I measured backspacing on the AZ wheels from my 1970 LT-1.
Same as the ones you are looking at (3 3/4). They are also an 8 inch wide wheel. So, if you can find a friend with a C3 Corvette, you could try the wheels on the back of your Camaro.

I am thinking those were likely made specifically for C3. Doesn't mean they won't fit your car.

----Hey Darrell! really good to hear from you. So cool that you have kept my favorite Camaro (among many). If you want I'll start poking around for some TT-D's, which would really suit that 69. Pm me if I can help....Bill S
