Pavilions Rock N Roll Car Show March 8, 2025

Glad it rained all day yesterday because it washed all of the dust away from last weekend! Today turned out to be a great day, but just a little on the cool side.

As I announced last year, a new event management company took over running the Pavilions Rock N Roll Car Show. As of now, they receive little to no $$ from the Pavilions management company. In addition, the tribal nation is now the landlord and is making a few changes. So for the first time ever (as I understand it), Pavilions Rock N Roll Car Show will take a summer break. The last day of Pavilions will be May 10th. There will be no shows during the summer, and local law enforcement and mall security will make sure no one loiters on the lot during the summer. Pavilions will start back up, I think, on October 4. This will help curtail show costs and move the evening shenanigans somewhere else.

Our group is working on alternatives, which I'm sure will include a few visits to the Mixteca Cruise at 67th Ave and Bell Road. That parking lot is badly deteriorated, so we hope to find an alternate place. Hope I still have cool cars to shoot during the summer.
