Default Great toilet material .. WIW ?

I’ve been slowly downsizing and pulled some of my old magazines out of the attic. After opening the first box, I think I may keep them for a while and leave them in the bathroom for future reading. Instead of my iPhone.

Internet is cool, but I really miss the old car magazines .. first I go to is the centerfold.

So what are old magazines worth? Have not opened any other boxes but from what I recall, I have Super Stock, Hot Rodding, Hot Rod, Car Craft and others.. All from the 60’s through the 80’s

What are they worth? Sadly, nothing. I have over 4000 copies and no one wants them. Shipping will kill you as they are horrendously expensive to ship. It's sad as many of these brought good money several years ago.

I have a closet full that I enjoy looking at time to time, but that's all they are good for now. Some of the musclecar adds are amazing.

I couldn't give mine away.

If a fellow had enough time, the value is in selling one at a time, maybe on Ebay.

Most will have at least ONE article on a topic or car that is of particular interest to an old car guy.

I will say, as a younger guy in the hobby(but not that young anymore lol) I’m always trying to collect old magazines. Are they worth much? No, but if anyone has a bunch of the super stock illustrated they’d like to see go to a good home I’d love to get a pm from you. I have a lot of car crafts and hot rods, but the SS mags are a little harder to find.

They will ship cheap, as "printed matter". Books are in a class all by themselves.

Super Stock & Drag Illustrated is one of the few magazines I don't have a complete set of from the 60's through early 70's due to how much people want on ebay for single issues. If you decide to sell them let me know. If I can get a set of these rounded up I'd scan all the muscle car road test and post them in the Vintage Magazine Articles threads here on the Yenko site for everyone to read.

I'd be interested in magazines that covered early 70s pro stock and related racing.

My wife said "why do you keep all of these old car magazines - are they worth anything?"..
So spurred on by that I spent the next week boxing them all up and just really then realized how many I had - a ton of them literally!
Certainly a lot more than I expected that I had squirrelled away.
Approximately 75 or so to a box and literally a 15 or more boxes in total..
Put an ad on Facebook Marketplace @$15 a box and was amazed at how many calls I got!
Lots more room in our closets and in my workshop shelving now - to say the very least.
Wife is happy for the new found space and everyone who came and picked them up seemed to figure they struck Gold - and considering how much they cost each to buy originally - guess they sort of did!
