1967 Corvette Roadster 327-300hp
This 1967 Corvette was produced in June of 1967 and sold new at (undetermined yet) Chevrolet in West Virginia (NCRS Shippers Report pending). The car was reported to have been ordered for the wife of the dealership owner. The car was later sold in August of 1968 to it's first retail customer Bobby Meadows of Beckley, West Virginia. The car had approximately 600 miles on it at the time of sale.
Mr. Meadows had worked for a local coal mining company. His hours were numerous, often working in excess of 4000+ hours per year. That single factor alone led to the minimal mileage on this 1967 Corvette (documented 20,500 miles as of this writing). The 2nd owner was Mr. Marc Tuwiner of Annapolis, MD. Marc maintained ownership until November 2001. The 3rd owner Mr. K Alexander of then Kennesaw, GA commissioned a body off restoration of the car which was completed in 2005. There is a short term owner (1 year) from Mr. Alexander to my purchase in December of 2024. Born with matching numbers drivetrain. 327-300hp 4 speed. Original factory installed trim tag documents the color combination of Goodwood Green with a black / white vinyl interior. This car is equipped with the following options...... -L75 327-300hp -M20 wide ratio 4 speed -G81 positraction axle with 3.36 gears -A01 tinted windshield -C05 convertible top (white) -C07 auxiliary hard top -J50 power brakes -N14 side mounted exhaust (added by original owner Bobby Meadows) -N36 telescopic steering column -N40 power steering -P92 7.75-15 white wall tires -U69 AM/FM radio The car is documented with -Original owners manual -Original owners manual bag -Original warrant book -Original Protect O Plate -Title copies -Correspondence between successive owners -Detailed billings from restoration -Restoration photos -Engine build sheet from Lamar Walden of Doraville, GA Since my purchase in December of 2024, the car has received a detailed inspection and services including.... -Replacement of all fluids -Replacement of clutch throw out bearing -Replacement of drive shaft u-joints -Replacement of battery -Rebuild of carburetor -Installation of 4 new 205/75R15 radial white wall tires -Installation of correct ignition shielding -Rebuild of original clock -Cleaning / detailing of original radio -Cleaning / detailing gauge cluster including the replacement of all bulbs and inspection of wiring harness -Cleaning / detailing of all exterior, interior, chassis, and engine compartment finishes This car has many original and authentic parts. Many of which support the mileage as documented. The car still retains it's original riveted ball joints, idler arm, starter, horn relay, radiator, engine, transmission, and rear differential. Furthermore, the car retains it's original jack, jack handle, 5 DC coded 15x6 wheels, glove box contents, and dated window glass. The paint is in excellent condition as is the chrome and stainless. The color is true to the original Goodwood Green in terms of shade and metallic content. The body panels retain all of the correct bonding strips. The interior is made up of the original dash pads, along with replacement carpets, seat covers, and door panels from Al Knoch. I have priced the car at $87,500. Serious offers considered. I feel the car is a stand up example of the marque and will prove to be a formidable investment as time moves forward. I agree - seems too cheap for that level of car and knowing that Tim went through it.

I have to make certain to hide this from Sherri. She wants a mid year vert. Frankly, I did not think anything this nice was available at this price point.

I agree that is an excellent value. People are always looking for 67 small blocks on CF and complaining there aren't any good ones available.
It's early in the January auctions, but from what I observe so far, prices are moving upward again. Also avoiding the live-auction and BAT usury fees, and getting a no-stories car from Tim. |
