1970 Camaro back-drive linkage
I have a customer that wants me to build an OEM Hurst shifter and the back drive linkage to go with it. He brought me two of the lower back drive rods. The stamping on the rods that he provided is a little different than two of the rods that I have that I personally took off original cars. I’m looking for input - are the customer supplied rods original or some reproduction?
TIA for any info. Thanks…Crash |

Bottom one looks right to me. Compares to my original. Show some pics of the ends.

The two lower rods I took off original cars.
The ends are all look the same, my original rods, and the two customer supplied top rods. Thanks... Crash |

I have never seen reproduction lower back drive rod stamped with the 0-5618. If all of the ends and length are the same? They are all original oems. They all look good to me. Also if one might be for sale? I would be interested.
