He got off way too easy with a minimal fine. I have NO love loss for people who steal from, cheat or otherwise take advantage of other car hobbyists especially when in the sales and restoration business as it gives us all a black eye. Until these people who steal from customers get put away, greed will continue to drive their lives.

I hate reading about these incidents happening. I agree, got off way to easy.
Maybe throw in an ass beating in there. Scary part it's getting tougher to trust folks out there. |

I agree with Rick’s last sentence fully. It makes no difference if it’s rare baseball cards, rare Boss 429’s or anything in between that is bringing good money there’s going to be crooks trying to take advantage of the situation.
Buyer beware always!

I'm pretty sure this is some type of typo below.
"As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend Kuyoth pay a fine of $95,000 at sentencing and be barred for three years from advertising or selling classic cars as number-matching vehicles “when in fact they include non-original factory-supplied parts that were installed by the defendant’s mechanics.” Barred for 3 years from selling number match cars that are indeed not "numbers match"? So after 3 years he can do it again?....lol |

Here we go again.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/225828156569 Advertised as 'numbers matching' the original decked block was not with the car, sold on eBay 2009. Re-stamp noted in the report, just not in the ad.
