Scaglietti Corvette
Jim Hall , Gary Laughlin , and Carroll Shelby collaborated to send 3 59 Corvette chassis’s to be rebodied and shave 400 lbs . Shelby wanted to use Chevy engines in later cars but GM said no . Not sure if was mentioned in movie . Scaglietti did work for Ferrari and Enzo was not pleased with him working on project . One article mentions this could be what made Shelby want to beat Ferrari .
