About as good as it gets in '68 save the Ram Air II.... Love the color combo and power options. Link to 1968 GTO auction 242378Z119875 |

REally nice, Rally ones were rarely ordered in 68, every once in a while you see one. My 68 HO 4 spd is Alpine Blue with the same interior, Parchment buckets with headrests, thought it's got 8 track, console, rear defog, rally pack gauges, power ant, and ralley II's with redlines. I wish it were in the same condition.

Love this car!! Rally I's look great on 68's. I bought a well optioned 1 owner 1968 LeMans in Sacramento back in the mid 80's with Rally I's.

Rally I wheels, 65-68. You rarely see them on a ‘68. I’ve never really cared for the ‘68 model, but I do like this one. |

----I bet there's a problem hiding under that steering wheel wrap. It would look better with the optional wheel anyway. Great GTO, especially with the Rally 1's on it......Bill S

Bill... I would expect it to be in excellent shape as is the rest of the interior. I would love to remove that cover and detail the entire wheel!! I do agree, the custom sports wheel is far more attractive.

When closing the hood of a ‘68 and ‘69, never ever pull it straight down. Keep hood hinges lubricated and “push” the hood towards the windshield. Works every time and does not bend / buckle the hood. Trust me, I’ve seen many bent hoods on these years. Beautiful ‘68 HO. |
