1972 Chevelle Convertible SS454 LS5
1972 Chevelle Convertible SS454 LS5 "W-Code" $74,000
VIN: 1D67W2K14769 (48) Sequoia Green (743) White Bucket (A) White top (W) White Stripe OPTIONS: LS5 454, M40 Automatic Turbo Transmission, 3:31 (RUC) 12 Bolt (non posi), Cowl Induction, PS, PB, Bucket Seats, Center Console, Tilt Column, Sport Wheel, Tach/Gauge/Clock Combo, AM/FM Stereo Radio FEATURES: Frame off ground up restoration completed in 2012. Less than 150 miles since restoration. Stored in climate control environment. Paint and Body by Dave Birdwell of Dave's Restorations. It does not retain it's original engine or trans. When I purchased the car it was in need of complete repair but was all there minus the engine and trans. It does have all of the hard to find one year only 1972 Chevelle LS5 under hood parts. The 1972 Chevelle SS454 Convertible's are rare (estimated less than 100 made). This is one of 32 that have been located through an extensive search over several years. It is car #24 in the Official W-Code Convertible Registry. It is also featured as an example in Dale's LS5 Registry for a 72 LS5 Convertible. I tried to restore this car back to 100% stock using as many original parts as possible. Dash was restored by Jim Brady of Super Sport Sales & Service. Gauge cluster was restored by John at Red Line Gauge & Clock Repair. Moldings were restored by Dennis Barnett of Classic Moldings Restoration. Assembly line labels were done specific to the car by Rich Recupero of Chevelle Restoration Labels. Radio restored by Howard Foulds of HF Enterprises. I have owned this car since 2009. I put my heart and soul into bringing it back to life and now it is time for someone else to enjoy it. I am open to reasonable offers. If you have any questions or would like to see other pics please let me know. I can be reached at 901-870-6646 or PM me. If I do not answer leave a message and I will respond back as soon as possible. Car is Located in Brownsville Tennessee. One hour East of Memphis off I-40.
