I have a set of door skins and wanted some feedback on pricing and info on why there seems to be a few part numbers for the same parts. I read something about the handle stamped area might be a little different but then the guy measured it and they were the same as the older ones.

I need to look at the box and see what the date on the one is. (one is in GM box) My part numbers are 20162371 and 20160965. I thought it was odd the numbers arent consecutive like some gm ones are. I found none of these for sale in a google search. Thank you

Bill, I paid $600 for a pair of skins for my 70Z project. They were both in their GM boxes, which I should have kept. If I can get the doors open I will look at the part numbers, but don’t remember them being different other than side to side.

Heres the info from your old post Buddy. Your passenger door is a couple digits different than mine.

Maybe interested in splitting them up? I've got a left (drivers) and may need a right. It's probably fixable. Just dents and some prior crude fixes, but no rust.

Bill, after I bought the single skin, of course I found a pair! Had to buy the pair, but did find someone that needed my single on the Nastyz28 site. I looked at my skins, and both stickers are behind the steel beam in the door! What are the odds. FWIW, I fit my longer door handles to these doors, and nothing rubs.

I ran into something interesting. I had a guy tell me mine are firebird door skins. Only info I found was an old ebay ad. Anyone have any insight on this?

Bill based on the pictures you posted on Facebook, Those probably are 2nd gen firebird skins. 2nd gen Camaro skins have a noticeable step on the bottom and a sharp crease in the middle.

These dont have that so they must be firebirds. I bought them online and thought I might use them years ago. I guess the seller didnt know either. I have enough to do that i dont have time for a car that needs them.

			Thanks for the input
