Default 1111480 - 1969 Camaro Z/28 distributor - 1974 service date

Hi Everyone, I have a used / core 1969 Camaro Z28 distributor here, service date from 1974.

I know the 4s are different in the stamping, but it appears to be an untampered with original to me and not a restamp. I don't have any service date unit photos to compare to, so I don't know if the tooling was changed and that's why both fours don't match know 1968 or 1969 dated stamps. But, I'm not a expert in these stamps, so please pipe up if you are. Thanks in advance. Is this a known service date? I know they were available likely into the 80s.

If someone knows either way, please post here, if it's a fugazi, I'll pull the ad.

It has the correct 532 CCW shaft but has clearly been modified; likely good for parts or a rebuild.

$300 shipped to the 48.

thanks everyone,
Anthony

Recalled a thread over at Team Camaro about 480 distributors being made by Delco as late as the 90's: http://www.camaros.net/forums/15-tag...placement.html
