Rebuilt & Replated 1969 9391 Chevelle Booster 309 BA Master,Metering Valve,Very Nice
SOLD
Original GM Delco Moraine Disc Brake Booster for 1969 Chevelle with front disc brakes Booster #9391 date code 285, 8524 DG rear clamp, The rod has A8 stamped on it at the end by the clamp. The rear plastic cover is new and has the T on it. Booster has correct upside down DELCO MORAINE stamped in the face and is nice and clear. The brake booster was completely disassembled, plated in gold zinc and professionally rebuilt. Master cylinder number is 5468309 with BA stamped on the front and a 328 code cast into it. It has the Delco master cylinder cover. The attached brake line is new as well as the bleeder screws. The 2 cover hold down clamps are plated in a silver zinc. The master cylinder and metering valve were completely taken apart and professionally rebuilt. Then they were primed and painted with cast iron grey paint. The metering valve bracket is also replated in gold zinc as well as the attaching bolt. It is not perfect-but it is very nice as it did have some very minor pitting in a few places-but again it is very minor. Last edited by 1969camarors427; 03-28-2018 at 04:41 AM. Reason: SOLD |

New Price
SOLD
Some more pictures of the assembly, and answers to some questions. The cap is original GM. As for any flaws there was a scratch on the right front corner of the cap that was there before being plated. It can be seen on the pictures of the cap on the right front corner. The cap can be turned so the flaw is towards the booster and not noticed. There is a very small amount of pitting by the M in Moraine, There is a line on the metering valve bracket, up close it looks like it has always been there? Beautiful set up. Price can't be any more right for a restored unit like that. I can't believe someone hasn't snapped that up yet. If I didn't have the original for my 69, I would have bought it.
