Default 010 Block, Sept. 21-69

I have a very nice 010 Block, 4 bolt main, bored .030 ready to assemble, I recently removed this from a nice running 69 Camaro, the cylinders walls look great, no ridge on top of cylinders, and the bearings looked nearly new, it was very low miles since last rebuilt.
Block was decked many years ago so nothing on the pad.
I can ship if needed.
$500. plus shipping.

Welcome to call me.

Is there usually another vin on a small block from around 67-69? Mine was decked as well, but supposedly is a real DZ 302 but wasn't sure if there was another place I could look, thanks.

Oh, and that was my 3rd birthday, Sept 21, 1969.

On the pan rail near the oil filter you may find a date stamp for assembly.
Alpha & Numerical code for month, day and year.
Most if not all CE fitted, Short Blocks and or Long Blocks. Have the Date Stamped .
I know this discussion is aimed at what is presumed a production engine.......

If anyone has CE BLOCKS or Assemblies , take a look......

Every CE block I've had has a "T" for Tonawanda and then two numbers signifying the month over on the starter side of the block. For example, T099 would be the 9th month of the year and the other 9 would be the year (1969).

This is my block....although it's hard to read, I think you'll get the idea.

Kurt
