Default 69 Camaro BB Cowl Induction Coil #

I've been asking this question for years and NOBODY can give me the right answer. What coil # should my 03D 396 4psd Z11 possess? a 270 cowl induction coil or the 293 unit. I've also been told either was fine as long as I had the cowl induction coil bracket. Does anybody on the site have an original untouched car to verify or pass on their wisdom. Thanks in advance,

Tom Weaver

Only small-blocks used the 270 coil & bracket assembly to clear the ZL2 air cleaner. Big blocks didn't need it.
