Default 66 or 67 Nova?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131255117890...TQ:MOTORS:1123

Been watching this car and found it to be a bit off so I asked about the VIN and trim tag info. Seller is NOT being honest in my opinion, what do you think? He says..."Here's the vin on the title that has been used to register this car for years. 611537008176", when I inquired about it.

67 Nova

Gary,

It seems to have more 66 parts then 67. He needs to show the Vin. on the door pillar as it will tell the truth... if it has not been played with. Trim tag and vin need to both say 67 or things are fishy!

Dave I posted a few emails to the seller thru ebay mail and asked for pics of the VIN and trim tag and told him any seriously interested person would want to know that info. I found a decent link just so he has something to go by for reference but so far all he sent me was that number off the title. He claims that title with that number will be all that's needed to register it.

I love that one answer in the Flea-Bay ad...that tells the story. I love this hobby

"It could be a 1966 1/2"

Wow, I'm done with that guy. He came back and said...

""You seem to know everything about titles. Please explain to me how you can purchase plates with a bogus title, because if you look closely there are plates on it currently.""

Never said anything about the title, just asked him about the VIN and the trim plates and if the VIN on the title match the VIN plate on the door pillar.

He's got 5 pictures up and that's suppose to tell all about the car? 425HP on a 350 GM crate motor?...NO!!!

Just ask to post door vin and trim tag...if he won't then RUN from this. He is hiding something

that he won't share till it's too late.

When I made my 66 look like a 67 I could not fit the dashpad from my 67 donor car, because the attaching bolts are placed differently. This one looks like it has a 66 dashpad, and is most likely a 66 with a 67 title.
