Not cheap but if nothing closer, I saw this BU Canada ad last night if you want to try him on for dates?
Says no US shipping but if what you need, seller may be a site member or one of us up here can help?

Are you looking for a Sept. 68 dated rear for a 69 Camaro or a Sept. 69 dated rear as that would be a really late '69 rear and would probably coded CBU or CBV

A late 1969 rear. The car has a 9C build date. I was not aware of the "C" before the BU or BV on the later cars. THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT, AND OR HELP LOCATING A REAR!

Yes the C is stamped about 1-2 fonts to the left of the BU or BV.

I have a 10 E car, so it too is pretty late and it has a "C BV" coded rear. I can't recall at what point the "C" was added on the '69 rears but the late cars typically have the "C" in front of the axle code with a spacing as Eddie mentioned.

around aug - sept they had the C

we have seen several sept cars, BU. BV and BE's with the C

I have also seen a couple of aug cars as well - I do think that was the conversion period (aug)

Chuck,

very unusual - but not impossible.....would help to look at a pic, as I have a number of guys who claim the same and upon further detail looking, low and behold that is a obscure "C" there.....note hammer marks from the factory.

here is my 09D Sept of 69 Z
