zl1 block question
Hello i know of a zl1 block with the SYEK stamp under timing cover does this mean anything to anyone? there are no numbers on vin pad been maybe been decked not sure thanks

One of Yenko's blocks. That is Yenko serial no.
May also have lp stamped over Winters logo. |

It doesn't have the Yenko name cast into the block , I tought the blocks that yenko made all had the yenko name cast into them ? thanks

My records indicate that many racing organizations did not allow aftermarket blocks, so there were 2 versions made by Yenko when he began production in 1976, one as Yenko and the other to appear to be a Chevy production. the stamp of EK tells me when the block was machined, as I have the code in my records.
